Pseudosphinx tetrio Giant Gray Sphinx. This moth was stuck
to the wall of the Convention Center on south Padre Island, on a cool
day with extra strong SE winds. The forewing was about 8 cm. long. I
thought it was the Giant Sphinx, Cocytius anteus at first,
due to its large size. |
