Family NOTODONTIDAE...Prominents

Very beautiful moths with subtle markings. See the disclaimer on the MOTHS main page. I find individuals in this group very difficult to identify. The patterns seem to change substantially as the heavy scaling wears off. Thanks to Hugh McGuiness for help with some of these identifications.

....7920 Peridea angulosa Angulose Promient. Washed out? Note black scale tuft, chestnut marks on top of thorax, and faint white costal patch.
7951 Symmerista albifrons White-headed Prominent

..may be 7974 Misogada unicolor Drab Prominent Montgomery CoMD

May be a more worn Misogada unicolor. Compare with above.
...... may be 7975 Macrurocampa_marthesia Mottled Prominent. I'm basing this guess on the green, black edged "ear-flaps"  near the head.
..may be 7983 Heterocampa obliqua Oblique Heterocampa

......Four individuals may be 7994 Heterocampa guttivitta Saddled Prominent? Very confusing!

..may be 7995 Heterocampa biundata Wavy-lined Heterocampa. Two individuals, worn and fresh. Compare with 7974 and 7994.
